PPMA Supported Exhibitions Overseas

Approved Accredited Trade Organisation and close relations with UKTI

With the impact of globalisation import and export activities are becoming increasingly important within the Processing & Packaging industry. The PPMA is an approved Accredited Trade Organisation (ATO) under the UK Government Scheme, which enables us to obtain grants where available for overseas exhibitions and missions.

An established office in China.

No region has had more publicity and impact on the world's economy over the last ten years than China. The PPMA has established an office in Shanghai at the heart of the Chinese economic power house in the Pudong industrial zone. The office provides members with a platform for exploiting the 'China phenomenon' whether through setting up joint ventures with Chinese companies, sourcing low cost components or identifying UK Agency agreements. The office is already home to several PPMA members and is forecast to grow significantly as more members take advantage of its facilities - appropriately named the 'Dragon Service.'

COPAMA and EUROPAMA

The PPMA is a member of the international Confederation of Packaging Machinery Associations (COPAMA) and the European Sector Committee for Packaging Machinery (EUROPAMA). These organisations aid international dialogue between machinery manufacturers and provide both market intelligence and an opportunity to join forces on a number of 'cross border' issues.
